I’m excited to meet so many of y’all in the months ahead as I continue my campaign for Clerk of Court. I’m proud to have the support of former Clerk of Court Robin Hooter, and I’m honored to build on the strong foundation she left behind.
As your current Clerk of Court, I’m committed to keeping our public records safe, preserving our parish’s history, and making sure our elections are secure. It’s about protecting what matters most to Rapides Parish, and I’d be honored to earn your support.

Known for her professionalism, honesty, and dedication, Karan has risen through the ranks, serving as Chief Deputy Clerk and now Clerk of Court. A Certified Chief Election Officer, she is committed to transparency, efficiency, and serving her community with integrity. Karan is not just a leader but a neighbor who cares deeply about the people of Rapides Parish and their trust in the Clerk’s Office.
